This course consists of two parts. The first part introduces matrix theory and linear algebra, covering the following topics: matrix algebra, determinants, inverses, systems of linear equations, Gaussian elimination, vector spaces, subspaces, linear combinations, linear independence, linear transformation, eigenvalues and eigenvectors. The second part studies differential calculus and covers the following topics: functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, the chain rule, implicit differentials, transcendental functions, inverse functions, higher-order derivatives, and applications of derivatives.
